Bo Knows Outside

Hey Team!

Bo here! I’m a lifelong nature enthusiast with a passion for wildlife and wild places. I’m a wildlife naturalist guide in Jackson Hole, WY and I love sharing all I know with all that I can!

What is a Wildlife Guide?

It’s not a bad question.

In its simplest terms I drive a large vehicle in beautiful places and point at interesting nouns including but not limited to mountains, grizzly bears, moose, trees, wolves, and more!

In reality I inspire curiosity in my guests providing in depth naturalist knowledge all while searching for intimate wildlife moments within Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks! As a guide I work hard to learn about my guests interests and deliver memorable experiences with wildlife and the landscape itself.

I carry with me top of the line optics (binoculars and spotting scopes) for you to use while we search for wildlife. In addition to searching for critters I truly love getting to know all of my guests!

Why Wildlife Guiding?

Mostly because I FREAKING LOVE IT! Let me expand that a bit more.

What I treasure most about being a wildlife guide is the fact that I get to live and work in one of the last intact ecosystems in the continental United States. As Jackson Hole is parked just on the edge of about 22 million acres of space it allows for unparalelled access to wild space and wildlife.

PLUS, in an age where the internet allows you to talk to anyone on the planet with the click of a button I find so much joy in the “old school” tradition of oral history and of sharing stories.

I get to meet THE MOST interesting people at my job!
